Android Developer – Junior to Mid Level:

Bransys team is growing. We are looking for an Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.

You will be responsible for:

• Work with other team members to understand requirements and come up with meaningful solutions
• Design and implement user friendly, reliable, secure, and efficient mobile apps and frameworks for the Android platform
• Efficiently communicate back-end requirements to the server team and contribute to defining the architecture of the back-end services
• Create developer documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Develop applications for time-sensitive projects while considering business/system requirements

Required qualifications:

• Basic knowledge as an Android Software Engineer through past projects
• Experience using RESTful APIs to integrate mobile applications to server side systems
• Knowledge of Android development IDEs including Android Studio
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• High proficiency with development tools and workflows (modern source control systems, unit testing, continuous workflow, etc.)
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Bonus points for experience with open street/google maps API
